And for even better news...

During the pregnancy, and three ultrasounds, we were told by the obstetrician and by our family doctor that Kyla would most likely have kidney problems that would have to be rectified by surgery after childbirth.

After the third ultrasound, two months before Kyla was to arrive, once again being told that this was going to be the road we would be walking after her arrival, I outright told our family doctor: "God will change this." At first, I thought this doctor would give me the standard 'yeah right' look, but, he said: "I'll side with you on that. Let's work on that together. And if not, we'll just continue to do so afterwards." I guess I found out my family doctor is a Christian that day.

Today, the pediatrician at the hospital came to us with the results of Kyla's first post-birth ultrasound. Perfect kidneys. No problems at all. He told us outright that 'someone was looking out for us', as he couldn't believe it himself, having the file of the previous ultrasounds in front of him. He said we miraculously avoided two surgeries and months of out-patient visits to the hospital...and didn't know how things rectified themselves so quickly. But, they did.

So, let's just say that today, I put even more stake in the Word that I delve into every day and truly believe that although I deem myself totally unworthy of his grace that God has wrapped his arm around my family and demonstrated his love, once again. I can't wait to 'build the foundation' with my two daughters now so they can make their own decision and build their faith 'above ground' in future.
