Re: "Rare white deer sighting in Ontario"
Well, one of these days I will sacrifice some good hunting time to go trapesing through the woods where that thing is to see if it is still around. I will keep you guys posted. Probably just somebody's pet got lose
About 4 years ago a guy down the road from us had a reindeer/caribou lookin' critter that he kept with his cows in his pasture for the fall and winter. Had a nice big rack too. Somebody else probably owned this thing and it got away.

Here's the picture of the one I spotted near Ayr (NOT Aylmer!).
I watched them graze for over 5 minutes and as I said, it was cheap 3.1 megapixel camera and they were a long ways off.

Seeing Albino deer is so neat. Late 80's in southern Ohio my hunting group of friends would see "Snow", a doe on the private property we hunted. Locals wanted her stuffed, property owner said she was off limits to our hunting group. Wish I would of taken pictures....

Re: "Rare white deer sighting in Ontario"
For some strange reasons that involve Bambi and political correctness, all white deer are protected in my state. However, if it has a minimum of one brown patch, that makes it a "pie-bald" variation which aren't protected. Gary
Re: "Rare white deer sighting in Ontario"
Sounds like there's a few of these white deer out there. The colour variations are really interesting!!
