String Loop Failure

Don; the reason I asked if you had to remove the string is because I am new at this and didn't know any better, I know, still asking dumb questions,
I hear and see too many wax or not to wax questions, didn't want to make a rookie mistake.
P.S. Thanks for all the help guys. Especially you Don, followed your cat whiskers video. Made the bow Alot quiter. Can really hear the arrow hitting the target, Got my son to shoot well I watched from the side, watching the arrow in flight is awesome.
