You are right GP we all make mistakes .
Forget to put an arrow in .
Forget to use the right chevron
Forget to take the arrow out .
Forget the bow while packing up is leaning on the side of the truck . CRUNCH !!!!!
Forget your safety harness
Forget your steps
Forget to hold onto the cocking aid while pulling the trigger .
Forget to keep your fingers or thumb out of the way . (by the way that hurts while keeping your cool with the Boy Scouts )
In total I think we forget more at times than we remember. :)

My old xbow has an anti dryfire mechanism on it. But I always fired it off at the target in the yard at the end of the night. It was a good way to make sure it was still hitting where it was suppose to after every time out, but it was pretty dark out by than.

I really feel sorry for this guy, but if hes a paraplegic I dont fully understand how he was cocking OR uncocking his bow with the use of his foot???

And as a paraplegic I hope the poor guy didnt feel the pain that would follow after such an unfortunate accident
