The Hunt

Well, I made it there. The wind was strong so I hunted one day and drove back home. Did'nt see one deer while in the stand. Guide did his best with what little he had to work with. Put me on a stand on top of a ridge. Thought my lungs would blow out but after working up a serious sweat I made it. Has great fun and the senerary was awesome. Going to drive back for Monday and Tuesday and Thursday hunting. With the new moon then it should pick up. Will take pics on next trip. I am going to kill me a buck!

i been at it for 6 days..... seen plenty but all were out of range
i prolly cud have taken 1 or 2 but, i don't want to take tha 35+ yard chance
i'd rather pass than miss. i gotta reputation to keep here at home with
all my grandkids....

changed my strategy this afternoon, i gotta get some meat before go'n back to work on monday !!!!!!!

I only hunted one day of a five day hunt. Going to wait out the bad weather and go back next week. Only can get better.

Hunted another one day hunt of my five. Saw a huge numbbie buck and two does. Sat from dark to dark. Still no rut starting there so I went back home and my guide is going to call when the rutting is in full swing. These one day ers are just fine with me. I am dead after a day of hunting. Bitch getting old. Golden years my *********** oh my oh my.
