We ended up getting seven deer in four days of hunting . . .the total will probably go up because my cousin is still after them.
I didn't take my camera every day . . .mainly because of the weather, but, other days, I was just too old to remember.

My buddy, Bobby, got two 5 point bucks. One was BIG . . .body was bigger than the ten point I got . . .here is a picture of the larger one.
The scope issue was funny . . .as soon as I pulled the trigger I started laughing because I knew Bobby was going to give me heck.
In 2002, Bobby and I were hunting and I heard him shoot. A few minutes later I heard him shoot again. I went to see what he had and found him looking at one small buck and he had blood running down his face.
He told me basically the same story I had . . .the deer came in behind him, he took an awkward shot and BAM! A two for one shot. LOL. However, he still has me beat . . .his hit knocked him out. When he awoke, he found the small buck trying to crawl off because he has spine shot it, so that's why I heard the second shot.

So, after I made the same mistake, I knew I was going to get a ear full. I field dressed the deer and as I started the dragging, I saw Bobby coming up the ridge to see what I had. I yelled down there, "Bobby, you are going to love seeing me!".
We had a remarkable hunt that left a mark. Those are fun times.
