Beauty birds congrats. How are the mosquitoes this time of year. ?

The mosquitoes they were only bad if you ran out of butane or forgot your thermacell , we found if you put a string on it and wore as a necklace it was all good.

I would caution on breathing in the fumes given off by a thermacell.
The chemical used is classified as a pesticide.

I don`t know what is worse . The bugs or the pesticide .
Here is some info on Close Up . He used to quit hunting this late in the season because of bugs . He now can go till the end because of his Thermocell .
When I`m asked if they really work . I reply I would rather forget all my turkey call than leave my Thermocell back at the truck .

I use the thermacell as well, but I wouldn't wear it like a necklace.

In the woods I'll place as many as 2 in my area where I sit but never inside a pop-up or other blind.

I use 1 on the boat and place it on the floor and that keeps the flies from chewing up my ankles.

I agree on the necklace . Scott is just joking .
But he did keep it going even on the walk out each day .
