Im a member on crossbownation and to tell you the truth im not really happy with the Excal scopes, ive gone through two in only a matter of months.
Danny sent me two replacements last time. (im in New Zealand and it costs me a bomb to get the scopes back each time) as usual the service was amazing!!.
I have seen quite a few posts from guys with exactly the same problems and i put it down to this....
Made in China - not Made in Canada!!.
I would imagine the Excalibur team will be aware of this problem and be finding a solution as it lets an absolute engineering masterpiece down big time...
A Hawke may be an option for me i think if i go through my two!

Gold tip laser II - Firebolts - Horton lightning strike w luminoks.
Excalibur x-act 100g -Magnus stinger buzzcut 100g
If you love something set it free if it doesnt come back hunt it down and kill it!!

I don't put Browning scopes ( if they made them ) on my browning gun's Why do you have to put an excal scope on your excal bow ? Our group have seen way to many Excal scopes give up . Warranty is great but it is no good when I'm in the bush. My bow will always be an excal but not the scope.

Update! Got my new scope on Saturday, but they didn't send the rings. My other rings went back with the warranty scope. Oh well.

Danny sells a few other brands of scopes. He has Leupold and has been selling some of the new Redfield that are made by Leupold. They look to be very nice and are a little less money than the Leupold. Just a thought.
