Range finders and practicing are hard to beat. I also went to a single crosshair scope and zero my Vortex at 30 yards at 20 mine is 1 1/2 high so 0-30 if I hold the crosshairs there it is dead. Always remember to aim at a small spot on the animal where you want the arrow to hit its real easy to forget about that when an animal comes in. Good luck with your next shot.

Clean miss? No Problem, just means I can keep on hunting. Spent the better part of the day looking for a deer that my nephew thought he hit (turns out not) definitely not as much fun as huntin'.
