I like Backwoodsman magazine also, great magazine that every time it comes makes me want to move out to the Rockies or visit Banf.

I let all but one gun magazine lapse and am looking for a crossbow magazine subscription.

Michigan Outdoor News with a subscription. Sometimes I buy Woods and Water News at the store. In the M.O.N. I like the "cuffs and collars" section that gives me reports of some of the fools around Michigan and how they violated a variety of dnr laws.

Lots of mentions of this Backwoodsman magazine. I'm gonna have to try and find me a copy to give a good once over. :)

Fur-Fish-Game is the only magazine I have been a regular subscriber to over the years. Not a lot of high dollar advertising sponsors behind the articles (as in truth vs. product marketing written into the stories) and a good variety of outdoor topics.

BTW - They even had a review of Excalibur crossbows a while back.

I am now down to---Traditional Bowhunter Magazine. The rest I have either let lapse or have cancelled.Bowhunting has been my first love for many years----so I don't really miss any of the others.

What magazines do you enjoy most and why?

Also, what magazine would you like to subscribe to, but haven't?

One of the favs at our house these days is "Backwoodsman" - it's rustic, a bit different, and always has something interesting in it.

How about you folks?
