Yea the turkeys around here love it too. In fact they'll eat you out of house and home. They get the corn from my spin feeders before the deer can have a chance. Not supposed to shoot hens here anymore and we save the toms for spring. Some guys put out corn on the cobb because they say the turkeys won't eat it like they do whole corn. I just don't have a good place to get corn on the cobb. :)

Any ideas?

You could check out a paint shop ( auto ) > at our shop we receive , laquer thinner and xylene in metal pails with removable lids . Let them dry and give a rinse with water and should be good to go .

Any pail should be washed with vinegar first.

I have in the past made many different type of feeders.

I found that squirrels, raccoons and others would chew any PVC pipes close to the ground, even if it had an open opening.

With a pail bump feeder (metal) make sure you attach a METAL WIRE up above the handle, high enough so no animal can sit on top of pail and chew the hanging rope.

Sorry, I do not have a link to instructions but I will try to explain this model.

Take a 4" pipe (any length you want), take a funnel sized enough to allow corn to be dirrected outward. Cut 3 groves equal distance apart just large enough to allow the corn to pass by the funnel out of the pipe. Now the last part is to attach a flat plate like object to the bottom to hold the corn. If you use a plate, make some small holes in it to allow water to drain. Hang it just high enough for easy feeding for deer.

Hope this helps.
