I'm not knocking your mod's boys, but for safety keep an eye on them scope mounts if they get even a small knock.
My standard mount was bent from the wind blowing my ibex off a small box onto the dirt. It only tipped onto the lib then rolled over upside down from the wind gust. I saw it happen and thought nothing of it as it didn't look like a hard knock at all. Next few shots were about 6ft too high. Scope adjustment wasn't enough to correct deviation either. I swapped the scope with another I had, and still had the same problem. I eventually measured a very small bend in the mount (hardly noticable to the eye) which equates to a big different with distance. I changed the mount and all was spot on again.
