Thanks for all the replies. I like the idea of
putting a reminder on the limbs. The other
Problem i have is i just received
a new string from vixenmaster and I have to
refrain from putting it on until I get a bit more
time shooting. Lol.

Be extra vigilant when others are around, when they're chatting and you're shooting while listening, or when a cell phone rings, or when the dog barks, or ANYTHING at all that could make you put your bow down for a moment and then go back to shooting.

i always check the arrows in position just before i take the shot.

Also try to set your own mental check list and the most important thing is not to let things interfere with the completion of your check list. Speaking form experience :roll: most dry fires occur when you are distracted by something or some one that interrupts your routine. Try to be conscious of not allowing anything to interrupt your routine.

Very true...distractions like a large group of shooters yuckin' it up and havin' a good time at Boostock! Don't ask me how I know this! :oops: :lol: :lol:
