Am just guessing Ray, but I assume the very slight twist facilitates removal.

What is wrong with just pulling straight back slightly then is what I am wondering, what would it matter then?

I just take my Miller pliars and wiggle them out.

I pull mine straight back Raymond. Try not to twist at all. They have never (knock on wood) failed to work.
I think the twist they say is cause they are made to tight for most applications and are very hard to turn off. I shaved a tad of plastic off mine and can turn them off by pulling straight back using finger pressure.

Raymond, I think John mean to wiggle the nock up and down a bit by twisting your wrist. I don't think he means to twist (rotate) the nock inside the shaft. Please correct me if I'm wrong John. :)
