I see a doe and her fawn almost every morning an evening from my patio door, hundred yds behind my house.
Shes been living in my woods for the last 8 months, just don't have any desire to bother her, even put in a pond an planted clover for her

Might use her for a decoy though when the rut starts

I myself haven't been since monday ,Ive seen Deer everytime i went to camp.Can;t say what this weekend will report.Where im Hunting at. The Pre Rut has started already..

I see usually 2 to 5 deer per sit since opening day till monday.Probally the same ole deer ,lol.

I went in last sat at 12 noon ,took my camera with me ,mounted it on a tree on the way to my tree .I stayed 4 hr's ,I checked my camera .There were 15 picture;s on it in 4 hr's.The camera is right on the creek bed along the route to my climber.

Well i came out looked at the card had 2 different deer 4 minutes after i was in the tree. Come to the Camera Scoping me out,watching me all the time as i walked to my climber.

They are getting wise now lol.
Change of plan ,come in from a different way .It's a good spot .Ill trick them for a day or 2.Then move again till i get him on the ground.
Wind alway's in my face when i walk in .Course there is no wind in the creek i walk in on in the water, all the way to my climber, From the Creek to my Climber right on the edge of the Creek.

They are close to standing corn here. Killed mine over a cornfield and have seen deer every time I hunted same. BUT, biggest concatenation of deer I was this yr (six, within 30 yards, at one time) were busy feeding on autumn MUSHROOMS. Would not have believed it had I not been watching the show.

Been out a handful of times and haven't seen a single deer until last Friday when I spotted a nice buck two farms over. Got standing corn behind me and beside me and I'm pretty sure they're hunkered down in there and have no reason to come out. I'm really hoping the corn comes off soon.

Kathy has been out the last two afternoons and seen 8 the first day and 4 today but two far! i have yet to get out

You are not alone. We aren't seeing much in the woods here in Northern Virginia. The deer are still out in the fields near corn and soybeans. My trail camera even went more than a week without taking a single picture. When it finally took a picture, I was there to see the spike walk by. Since the bow season started, no one in my family has fired a shot. I normally get 2-5 each bow season. That one spike is the only deer any of us have seen since October 5th.

This evening we saw nothing, but the trail camera had 3 bucks on it in the past 24 hours. Two were nice shooters. With the cooler weather, things may be starting to pick up.

was in my favorite tree this eve..it was the kind of evening we dream of..every thing as far as wind, temp, the moon, i even took a bath ...was in my favor..but I saw nothing...I will say this ..I love being out there and I left my stand at the bottom of the tree ,,,b there n the morn!!!

zap yer right...I got in my stand this morn 30 mins before daylight..
around 8:30 I see movement ..its turks..14 of em..
I watch them for an hour or so ..by ten I called my wife and said put some coffee on im done for the morn..
stood up turned around..took off my head dress and there was a deer looking right at me
it was a yearling but its momma was right behind . had I stayed still for 5 more mins they would have worked past me ##@@##$&^%%$ deer
then to top off I tell my wife and she laughs at me$#%#$ woman

Strum....... I posted this at 12.39pm, at 511pm (same day) I shot my buck. Amazing what a couple hours make.

Mornin, i saw 4 yesterday mornin, They were too far at 65 yds est. 2 Doe's a fawn & a Buck wid nice heargear. They be movin here

No deer for me this morning (again ), saw two 'yotes pop out of the woods at about 65-70 yds and trot off down an old logging road. Tomorrow it will happen.

I know with the Muleys around here, have to be in the stand right before it gets light out.. Any later, the surprise factor is quickly eliminated...
