With all that action it looks like you may need a bigger freezer before this season is over
What is your opinion on that Toxic BH? They looked interesting so I bought a set to try but have not gotten beyond the 18-1.

Toxic made good holes but my arrow weight was abit light fer it. The leadin cuttin edge isn't real sharp reminds me of that wire on fences they use to keep things in or out. I have only shot the one deer wid them, he had small sporatric blood drops fer the 1st 50 yds, then it started doin well & was much easier fer me eyes to see on the soppin wet leaves in early mornin light. Based on only one shot, its not my favorite but it isn't a bad one either

Re: Miss Vixen spoke in Viola
My cookin pot stays empty, i gave the 2 Viola deer to the woman Farmer cept the back straps on one & took both tender loins. My other deer went to a local Homeless shelter & half of another to a needy family. I am hoping to fill the other 5 tags i have fer Mo. & still can get 4 Doe's down at Viola. Gettin colder so now is the time to get every one that walks in range of mebigredopie wrote:With all that action it looks like you may need a bigger freezer before this season is over![]()

Re: Miss Vixen spoke in Viola
I've shot three deer with Toxic BH's. All three were pass through and blood trails was good. All three shot through top of the lungs. One ran about 100yds other two about 50 - 70yds. I'm impressed with their performance but I will see how they perform in the long run. Three live deer is not anywhere near enough to have a conclusive decision All three deer where shot with same broadhead and GT Lazer III Pro series arrow, moon nock , 100gr brass insert, doing about 330FPS. Distances of all three shots were closest being 19yds, 21yds and furthest being 24yds
You sure you can skin griz, pilgrim??

Re: Miss Vixen spoke in Viola
Mike nice buck and congrats to puttin another one down, no more turnups for that one.
The deer I shot this afternoon was with the Toxic broadhead I didn't check for a blood trail since it only went about 40 yards and piled up and it was getting dark. I did a passthrough but I didn't look for the arrow because I needed to get her out I'll look for it tomorrow morning I'm going back to the same foodplot. I'm shooting a 378 gr. arrow at about 300 fps with the Matrix 320.
