The outside case dimensions are the same. If a bow has a rear safety the Triggertech unit will fit.

Don it sounds very interesting, but its still hard to beat your trigger jobs when you get done with them. I love what you did for my Matrix, my trigger is perfect for me.

Not at this time. Gagnon Sports in Oshawa is a dealer but I don't know if they have a single stage trigger in stock because it's so new.

Sorry, that was for Shooter's Choice, Gagnon does not have a demo at this time. I will look into sending them one.

Our triggers technically fit all models. As Boo mentioned, the outer dimensions are the same. But, the inner geometry is different. We do not advise transferring the Matrix specific triggers to any other models as the trigger can get too light due to being tuned into the 260lbs Draw.

That's a good question.

It all comes down to assembly time, as Boo mentioned. From a technical perspective, the single-stage is much simpler. Our premium model two-stage triggers have pre-travel or loading engineered into them - the first stage. As in, the travel is not a spring, it is mechanical motion - the sear surfaces moving to the release position once pre-loaded. With these models, you can abort the shot and the trigger action returns to the start position for you to shoot again. This unique benefit, as well as others, are all more complicated to accomplish in the assembly process, though result in a fine two-stage rifle feel to your crossbow trigger.

If you think about it, the two-stage trigger is almost like assembling two triggers. The pre-travel has to be set at a different load than the release, so you are effectively engineering in two different load metrics to each stage.

Our single stage triggers are set at the wall, with minimal modifications during assembly. As there is no pre-travel, we do not have to concern ourselves with the precise distinction between the first stage and the second stage. There are other technical benefits that make assembly faster/easier too, they are based on geometry and tolerances. In the end, the single stage model is designed to duplicate the action of factory triggers, though introduce the benefit of our frictionless patent pending method for a crisp, clean and precise release.

I hope this helps.

Has anyone with trigger work done or an aftermarket trigger taken the time to do a "before and after" range and accuracy report?

I've got the 2 stage on my Axiom and appreciate the 1/8" travel. With hunting gloves it gives me a little leeway in breath control,,or jitters when the big one shows up. It still has that break like a glass rod after the travel. It cut my groups down at least 1/3.
