I am new to crossbows and my first and only is the matrix 380. It is all you can ask for and then some. Only problem I have is that the bolt passes through and you cannot find the bolt when shooting deer from a pop up blind. A thicket was 20 yds behind the deer and bolt vanished in it. Guess that's a good problem.

I too had to put up the Equinox, my twice-cut, 73 yr old, shoulders and back just couldn't take it. Trying out the 380 recently only confirmed that fact.
Ican shoot my Phoenix allay long for practice and my Vortex is the hunter.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.
Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!
