I don't shoot a whole bunch, certainly none of it is just for plinking around fun. So, if I had to use my crankeroo to cock my bow, I'd do it willingly.
I think that pushing a heavy, wide cutting broadhead, as quickly as I can (short of sacrificing accuracy and causing undue wear) is the best strategy--for my type of hunting.
It all depends on where you set your priority. If you are a hunter, having difficulty cocking the bow without a cocking aid is perhaps not a good reason to pass on it.
