You read my mind. I'm thinking I haven't been to Texas for an exotics/hog hunt for a few years now. Would love to incorporate some hunting and bowfishing with a texfest. Hey, that could mean some fresh meat for the smoker. I'm assuming being a Texan you've got a giant smoker and plenty of mesquite around. :D

So what do think the odds are that they will let me cross the border with this on the back of my truck:

Dont know about the border but I have been told ( will look into it and find out for sure) that potato guns are illegal in Texas. I'll find out!

Yup, I probably would be there for sure, seeing as Fort Worth is right down the road from me.

I have been a member and a lurker for a while - but would definitely attend. I have been sidelined with some medical issues but would make sure to be there. The fact that I am just south of Sherman, TX doesn't hurt either.

Thanks for putting this together.

Looks like we may have quite a group. I am looking forward to it. See some old friends and make some new ones.

Well..... It looks to me like there is enough interest to proceed . I'll get started. I am thinking mid March, maybe the weekend of 14th-15th. If this is a conflict I could be flexible some , but any later and I know we will be into some folks turkey season. What y'all think?
