Congrats on yer nice deer. Good recovery & now i will tell you what the rest didn't. Never shoot a deer you can't put yer crosshair or dot on the deer's body itself. You don't knowed how her body lined up wid the beans that high up on her back.

It's easy to get excited and make mistakes. I've done it a few times.
