I simply told my wife that I would buy what I liked when I liked and if she did not like it she knows where the door is.

Been divorced going on 16 years now. :lol:

My wife is too lazy to leave; by the way, I am too lazy to move her.
We have the if you can afford it without sacrificing something else, then buy it. If affordability is a concern, then we don't buy. 17 years and not a hard word between us.

In the last 5 years I bought 2muzzleloaders, 3 crossbows, 1 shotgun ,1/2 dozen fishing rods and a ton of other hunting gear. I hide the receipts, she knows nothing. As long as my wife never joins this forum, I WIN!
