Thanks guys. It was really an easy project. I cut the stock close to the butt plate, then cut the desired amount off main stock, glued butt plate back on with Acraglas, flush with top. Smooth bottom joint ,and sweep with putty mixture. The Acraglas mixed with Microballoons spreads easily and then sands very easily as well. The Truck bed spray worked very well, and went on easy. Colt is happy, I'm happy, life is good! :D

....hey that looks like a great project and results for not only Colton...but some of us "height challenged" individuals...do you have some before and after shots of the project? Would love to see them!
