I couldn't get the Rage Xbow heads to hit good for me so I gave up on them . Heres a test I done last year to test them . Sighted in my 380 at 40yds with field points and Rage practice head, Both these hit same POI . These black pieces of tape are nickel/quarter size ! Harris bipod on front swivel and sandbag in the the rear .
My thoughts on Mechanical heads are this, For a 380/405, ONLY over the top mechanical such as Spitfires/Hammerheads/FOC 170/Wasp Jack hammers Etc... are all Im shooting or recommending in the future Due to the high poundage exerted upon release . Rear deploying heads such as rage cant be trusted in 380/405 xbows . This is just my humble test and everyones elses may vary.

i really really love the performance of the rage hypodermics. my father LOVED his old broadheads, i don't even remember what they were. I gave him a few once used but new blade rage hypodermics. he shot a good 7 point and it impressed him so much that he won't shoot anything else. When they first came out i shot a 7 point in Georgia. the deer did not make it 20 yards. it looked like a blood trail made with a fire hydrant. They are rather impressive litte things.
