Where in WY are you going? I rifle and handgun hunted for several years for Antelope, Mulies and Elk. I love the land and the people! Hated the cactus :shock:

Going near Buffalo, wy. Johnson county i believe... yep nothing but dirt, sage brush, big wash outs and cactus. Lol. ..but its great. Shot a mulie at 82 yards with my bow there last year. Not the biggest buck but i was happy and thats all that mattered. Lol.

Yep, walk up lots of Mulies along the coolees in Sheridan and Gillette. Dry, nothing but dry land. Makes beer gooood when you get back to the motel!

Yeah. We ( my 2 uncles, my cousin, my dad, and me) set up a base camp and then everyone separates for about 2 days. Sleep out on the Prairie and come back to camp to check in and eat some real food and have a drink. Then make plans for the rest of the hunt. My plan is none. I wander aimlessly and see animals. If i have a plan it never works. Lol.
