Thnaks everyone! It was finally a perfect wind.
I wasnt in the stand half hour watching the jays eat my corn. I looked to my left and saw a little tree getting trashed by what I assumed was the fork thats been visiting the salt block daily but i couldnt tell for sure as a downed tree was in the way.
Then i looked at the towards the corn and saw her making her way. She inched to the corn and decided to circle it and doing so presented a perfect slightly quartering shot to her right side.
Freezer being empty I immediately touched off the shot and 2 seconds later heard her do a headed into a tree not 20 yards away! Couldnt see her but knew it was a done deal. Texted my buddys went grabbed my gear and you see the results.
Norm yes it was a 2" green ferrel Shwacker. One blade bent still closes rest is undamaged. My original tapps have a big shoulder on the inserts so the wings hit it and it's also undamaged.
From shot to cooler 1.5hours she's gonna be a tasty one!
