Well said Peter.

I know many Excalibur users and the majority of us have yet to have any issues with our bows. If we do have issues we know they will be taken care of pronto.

No lack of confidence in the product in this area. In fact the Excalibur are flying off the shelves and things are looking good.

With all due respect, if you had an idea of what Excalibur goes through to test their bows, you wouldn't say this. I am privy to only a small percentage and I'm amazed at what I've seen them do.

great warranty and nice people but ive lost confidence.
Our warranty return rate for 32 years has been less than 1%, we had a few issues recently but our return rate is still way below industry standards. The facts are to date we have yet to have a Micro 355, 315 or Bulldog limb failure so I think we are on the right track. We learned how to make our product even better and I'm pretty excited about the future of our product line.

With social media people have become a lot more reactionary and every issue is over-publicized which makes it look like the sky is falling. The facts don't come close to reflecting the hysteria that developed over some models. But, this is the world we live in these days.

Any product from any manufacturer can fail, it's how they look after the problem that counts and I'm pretty proud of our record. For those of you that lost confidence I totally understand and it's your right to purchase whatever product you think is better. All we can promise as a company is to make the best product we possibly can and if we make a mistake, stand behind it and make things right.

Well I had to replace a limb on my 380...but I just broke 2 Zombies out of 4 arrows at 100yards offhand last night with my Matrix 380!!! ..You just keep up whatever it is you are doing and it is ALL GOOD!!! .....But it would sure be nice if your warranty program would help out with all of the arrows that your bow keeps breaking...

Boo- i can only speak from personal experience. i know that new models get tested.i know they get hunted with before they hit the market. even with that i would say they can still get things wrong or something that hasnt been tested enough.the 405 is obviously a problem child in that catagory. the fact that they chopped them down into a blow out model and did away with the 405 speaks for itself.i personally dont think they tested that model enough hence the changes even at the end of the production.the limb recoil space design leaves me to think they are continuing to improve and thats great although i was told they only did that mod in a 405 model. i brought up what they did with my 405 and you thought it was wrong so i checked into it for safety sake. i only brought the subject up to those whod wanna know what Excalibur did so maybe they too can get the best version of a crossbow that went through revisions.to the best of my knowledge they havent let owners know. maybe they should.

I just sighted in my Micro 355 yesterday. First time out of the basement after doing the string settling process where I'd only fired the arrows into a small discharge target.
First group "out of the box" was 2" low and left and after a few small adjustments I was getting consistent, half dollar sized groups at 20 yds. Really my first extended shooting session and I couldn't be happier!
Of course this was with the factory quills too...very competent package out of the box, I would say!
I also got a pleasant surprise that my Morell "Yellow Jacket" target not only stopped the bolts beautifully but I could also use the "2 finger bolt removal" too...
That was a relief too because the discharge bag in the basement was a bear to remove the bolts from.

After shooting that Morrell lay it down and stomp on it to redistribute the material. It will last a lot longer if you do this ever time.
