Apparently us Canadians are very good at calling turkeys!
I'm still trying to limit this to Canada for postage cost reasons, so who would like to do a review on some slate calls? I have total of 4. I think they sound good and Danny had a try and said they were sweet. So, if there is anyone interested, please send me a PM and I will mail a free slate call. The only prerequisite is that you need to be effective enough with a slate call that you can say that it is a good or bad call.
I have 2 Palm Pilots and the Touch Calls.

They are sweet calls.
i bought the palm pilot from them at the ATA.
Its not a real loud call but nice and small for up close work.
All hand made by the owners Amish neighbours i believe.
we made great sounding call.

Boo, Buy yourself a round trip ticket on Westjet from Toronto to Tampa on 3-17 and I will take your sorry ass to the woods the next morning and we will give your slate a try. I know my woodhaven will bring them in if your call fails to work.

I appreciate the offer Dennis, but I will be busy with a Malinois puppy that will be ready for pick up on the 16th. I'll be quite occupied after that :D
Unfortunately, I can't get a puppy every year so if you invite me next year, you'll be sorry you offered!
