Thanks guys .... I picked up another 6 point . Tried for a 25 yard spine shot but hit a little off center  2 hr tracking and a 45 min haul out on my own ( all the guys were tied up on stand etc. )

I took a few pictures today with my crappy digital camera .... sorry for the fuzzy pic's I didn't want to haul in my 35 mm cause of the wind and rain this a.m.

This is the 6 point as I found him .

Here is a picture of a few of our group members .... sniper Heimbecker on the left , Skip next , me and Vern on the right . We have another group photo that Keith took ( he said he would e-mail it to me ) .

Here is a picture of the 8 and 6 once I packed out the 6 point .

A great week .... man we had fun .... hard work but lots of fun ! And lots of laughs ! I thought Vern was going to spilt his gut we were laughing so hard this a.m. recalling some of the weeks events !!

BTW guest Here is a picture although it is blury you can see that both bucks were tagged ! The 8 points tag was covered by my hand in the first shot ( the tag was on 30 seconds after it was loaded on the tail gate ... I was kind of in a hurry since the farmer dropped it off with the loader of his tractor ! If you need more info , register , PM me , and I will give you the names of the guys I was hunting with and the guy that tagged the 2nd buck ! Also our butcher will not take anything that ain't tagged !! If you look closely by my right hand on this picture you can see the tag .......

Happy New Year guys !!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!
But what's all the snow still on the ground for? It was -10F/-23C here last week and 56F/13C here today! Closed the year by sitting in my stand until the end of legal hunting time today, and plan to start the new year by hunting tomorrow. We have 31 more days of archery season in Ohio, and I have one more tag, and still haven't shot an antlered one yet! I'll look for antlers for a few more days, then "if it's brown - it's down" goes into effect

No problem the sled needed a good home.....and you were part owner of it anyway the day we seen it on sale!!

2005 will be better - 2004 we (I) gave it our (my) best!! It still produced alot of great memories with friends and that beats a kick in the a$$ with a frozen rubber boot anyday!
