..or could you imagine a slightly wider width with longer power stoke? I'd guess speeds approaching 500 fps!...maybe more!
A "Different" Crossbow...
The swisscrossbow looks mighty interesting! ...until you hear the price!
The design goes back to the similarly designed 4 wheel compound vert bows that first came out many years ago. Stick that limb design on a conventional stock without the cranking device and you would get one very compact affordable compound crossbow! 16 1/2 inch width! WOW!

It only has an 8" power stroke now!

I too like the looks of that "Swissbow" before going with the excocet last year I shot Oneida bows for many many years and the look of this bow reminds me a bit of them.I would love to check one out at some time.
As far as the "backwords" bow goes it looks like the cams would have to be offset or crooked for the string to come back without dragging.

no more so than a conventional compound bow-its the riser that determines thatfishon wrote:I too like the looks of that "Swissbow" before going with the excocet last year I shot Oneida bows for many many years and the look of this bow reminds me a bit of them.I would love to check one out at some time.

A friend of mine has shot with the Twinbow II and he says that it's the greatest crossbow he has ever seen.
It seems to have a great performance and gives the word "compact" a new dimension.

Mass Weight: 7.5 lbs
Length: 33.5’’
Width: 16.5’’
Power Stroke: 8’’
Arrow Length: 16’’
Arrow Shaft: 22xx
Arrow Nock: moon
Velocity: 370 FpS
Energy (foot pounds): 99
Not bad, really not bad...

It looks liek I would have to become a crossbow mechanic to shoot it.STEELWORKER wrote:THAT THING LOOKS LIKE AN ACCIDENT WAITIN TO HAPPEN...STEELRichard wrote:A friend of mine has shot with the Twinbow II and he says that it's the greatest crossbow he has ever seen.
