I have checked your Xbows out and I am unclear about where the quiver mount goes. Is it mounted under the bow? If it is, then the forearm would appear to interfer with the arrows in the quiver. Please clarify.

These must be particular to Russia as I have not seen them in Eastern Europe or Gerogia.

Loper,
Welcome to the world. Capitalism offers many more advantages for individuals to improve their lives and the lives of the consumers we serve. I am pleased Russia has joined the world in this regard. However, there is one thing Russians have not experienced since the years of the Revoultion. Freedom. Someday, I hope soon, the Russian people will again get to really determine their own destiny. We will welcome you again to the free peoples of the world when that time comes.

Many of us are too old and still remember the hard times between our countries during the Cold War years. The Berlin Wall where East Germans risked life and limb to escape (tunnel 28), the Czechs and the Hungarians attempts at freedom during the Cold War. I have traveled extensively in Ukraine and Moldova and have seen first hand the results of the absence of freedom. Please forgive us if we are, on occassion, a little harsh with you. Our memories are still too strong. But understand, everyone one of us on this forum welcomes and dreams of the day when all Russians will really know freedom and we are truly glad to have you expeerience the joy of capitalism and the beginning of the feelings of freedom that it brings.

>>Loper, Welcome to the world.

You better say "happy birthday, Loper!" =)) I listen to you and realize that you are just a victim of propagation...

>>Capitalism offers many more advantages for individuals to improve their lives and the lives of the consumers we serve.

Capitalism in Russia started in 1985 (if you remember "Gorby")
I am very young man - 31 yo  and remember age of socialism very misty... I have grown during an epoch of wild capitalism - just like USA in 1930-40.
You watching your TV too much and you think that you know Russia. I can tell you - You know nothing! If want to know - just ask, I'll tell to you the truth

>>I am pleased Russia has joined the world in this regard. However, there is one thing Russians have not experienced since the years of the Revoultion. Freedom. Please stop your political propaganda! :-) I am NOT a "russian people" - I am just one man, one world, one person. I have my own life, destiny and privat outlook.
Don't mix and shake all the people - the are not a fruits... There are many liberals, democrats and communists in Russia and in USA and in Canada. I don't like to speak about politics - I hate them all.

Thank you very much for frankness!

BUT!
Let's talk about crossbows, archery and marketing. Let's be a friends.
I have nothing against you or your country.
I come with peace... :)

We sell bows and crossbows of various manufacturers including foreign models like: Horton, PSE, HOYT, Samik, Win&Win, some chinese "crap-manufacturers" :)
Our quivers (for own crossbows) are made for carrying on a belt only.

On my web you can't see the best we have got because there is a stupid limits for draw weight in russian law. NOT more than 20 kg (40 pounds) - We are compelled to hide a part of production and to do additional limbs for high-power crossbows. :(

PS Horton makes his crossbows IN CHINA :D
PPS I do not know where is excalibur's manufacture...

I would like to ask you - what do you think about Hoton's FAQ? I mean compare recurves and compaunds?

2335 Shirley Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario.

I have personally been through the factory during their open house tour and seen the manufacturing process, including their limb making equipment, which is done on-site.

I have been involved in archery since the late 1960's, shooting hand held recurves.

I have shot hand held compounds since 1979.

I have examined Ten Points and Hortons very closely, I have shot them as well and seen them in use at many 3D target shooting events.

I have read Hortons information.

This information has no influence on me.

Having shot both types, for my choice of equipment, for my own use, the most important opinion is mine; it is experiance based and I will sellect a good recurve crossbow for my own use.

I am admired with your achievements and experience, Maestro!
But I woild like to hear a reasons - why do you choose a recurve? What do you think about compaund's advantages and lacks and recurve's advantages and lacks. I look at the archery market and guess that Horton looks like IBM and Excalibur looks like Mac. I think the Excalibur is the dying company which tries to keep the small share due to fanatics and aggressive marketing. I see no reason to choose a recurve, please help me to become the fan of excalibur! :D [/b]
