I fletched mine on a Bitzenburger with right hand helical. Not a lot of helical on the old Bitz but the arrows shoot mighty fine. :D

Fletched Boo's test arrows with the 2" Blazers. Used Arizonia EZ fletch with the right helical. I have alway shot stock firebolts and thought they were OK. After shooting Boo's set up I can see I've been missing the boat. These arrows really hold a good group.

Finally was able to get back out and shoot these Black Eagle Arrows against my Gold Tip Laser II's again. I took the best 3 arrows from each of the groups and numbered then 1,2,3. these were the best arrows for my groups. All shooting was done from my shooting bench at 56 degrees.

First 3 shot group at 30 yards with Gold Tips was 7/8 of an inch
Image
First 3 shot group at 30 yards with BEA was 1 3/8 with a Robin Hood so my no. 3 arrow was destroyed so I went to no. 4 for testing.

The Black Eagle's shoot just as good as the Gold Tip Laser II's. I did find the more I shot tight groups the wraps started showing a good bit of wear. I also tried changing the cock vane on some of the arrows and on one arrow in particular I saw a change in impact at 50 yards by about 1 1/2 the arrow flew to the right away from the other 2.

Thanks Don for these sweet arrows I hate I destroyed one today.

0.001" shafts went to;Masboy, Kd8Jgu, Novaboy, Hester and Flightattendant

0.003" shafts went to;Masboy, Roly, Robertb, Shotnbeer

Iswoody was sent shafts but did not receive them.
Chinook received them but well, chalk that one up and learn who you send what to. Live and learn

All in all I am pleased with the efforts. Some things are unfortunate but.......

Thanks Don for your generosity once again. I knew which ever arrows I had shot great. Like I said before these arrows are keepers and I would put them up against the Gold Tips Laser II's anyday. The best way I know now to break them in is get some blood on them Boo arrows.

Thanks again Don!

You mean to tell me that my first attempt shooting my Vortex at 50 yards gave results like this and I was shooting the .003 shafts. Now I know why I had that one flyer that I thought I had pulled a little.

I'm glad that this was an education for everyone. I just don't have the time to test so I think it's mutually beneficial. It's also great to have people with some kind of diagnostic minds to figure stuff out like you did.
