Well I lost control and bought a Cannon S3 from Broadway Camera... Man those people are good salespersons... I ended up getting the ni-cads, a charger, the ring mount for lens, an ultraviolet filter, 2gb card and a 4 year warrantee plus the S3 all for $509 which wasn't too bad but I hadn't planned on buying it all at once.

I am really looking forward to getting the camera and playing with it. I am blown away by the zoom - 472mm! My gosh my biggest lens for my Pentax is 500mm reflex and it is impossible to shoot without a tripod. If I can shoot at 472mm without a tripod it would be wondeful.

Does the anti-shake work pretty good?
