Can't seem to handle grits. Not too fond of "biscuits and gravy" that doesn't have some sausage bits no matter how stingy, in the gravy either. The little country store 2 miles down the road that I took the Canadians to has the best around. Don't care for Canadian Bacon [here] either. Looks to me like they took a cookie cutter to a perfectly good ham slice. Can't envision any part of the hog it could come off of in that little perfectly round shape.
Our local meat delicacy is J.C. Potter pepper bacon. I drool over it as I walk by to get turkey sausage, lol.
Gal pal made biscuits and meatless gravy once. Kid asked for toast. Outta the mouths of babes. She asked me how the biscuits were, I told her "perfect". They were the right size and weight to use for hand thrown targets for the kid's .410 aerial practice.
