WELCOME, Catpower! Been there, Done that. When I got mine, none of the shops hardly carried any Excaliburs. I told them, "you will!". I know that not everyone is going to love the recurve like I do but here's a little fact I don't share on the other forums: My husband bought a TenPoint and on at least 4 occasions he has made the statement "I should have bought an Excalibur".
I would never knock another crossbow company and especially not TenPoint. They make great bows but if both of us accidently dropped our bows out of a tree, I wouldn't be the one crying.

now the excitment and waiting begins, every day you'll be running to check the mail with an anxious smile or watching out the window at the ups truck to see if he is stopping at your place
I just got my Ibex yesterday. I am more impressed with it now than I was at the bow shop (for some reason it doesn't seem very big). The thumbhole stock on the Ibex fits me really well and the illuminated scope looks great. Hopefully I will get some shooting in on Sunday. I need to get a target yet and some sort of arrow carrier. I did not get a quiver with my bow, because I did not like it all that much.

Hopefully you'll get it together for Sunday and be able to give us a range report Sunday night or Monday.
