i also am a believer that it helps.i personally have had better succes when a deer is down wind.but then again it might be the air current?? im with the farmer if it gives me a second or too to get my shot off before that deer bolts,then it did its job.i have shot more deer down wind using it,and i have been hunting with it a few years now.

i am also with you all that if there not downwind then great.but there comes a time when they will be,and if it helps great.for me it has<JIM
