I have contaced them (Excalibur) several times. Each time telling me how to sight in the scope and the 150 gr bolt cutters would work better for me.

The scope adjustments do not seem to make any effect. I will be calling them back again today on my drive to northern MI to my "hunting grounds" (away from phone from lines and computers). Hopefully they will work Saturdays.

Excalibur mentioned that I may need to send them my scope at the very least for them to check it. I didnt want to due that during prime season though. I guess thats my next step.

I will keep you posted.

Philzleads,

Your experience is not typical, please call us at 800-463-1817 to discuss. Crossbows are very simple devices and its not rocket science to make them shoot accurately. We can help you.

Peter,

Thanks for the reply. I did PM you.

I finally got the Vortex to group with Field points...cool. I dunno man seems like the scope settled in for lack of a better explanation. But I passed my own test; 3 bolts in three different circles of the target 3 times in a row, no misses, once at 30yds and again at 35yds. Thats done, but only with field points.

Different story for Broadheads. I put Muzzy 125gr BHeads on 4 brand new Easton CF bolts, one of those bolts will hit where I point. The other 3 won't. I can see them corkscrew in the scope. I don't mean spiral, like a well-thrown football. Yes I am putting the same vane down each time and I am also being meticulous about the cocking rope.

I think I only have 3 150gr. boltcutters left, but couldn't really get a group with those either. So I am looking at another broadhead and would welcome any and all suggestions.

Please tell me if you have a broadhead that will group four or more bolts, what is it? Because as it stands right now, I have one bolt with a broadhead that I can hunt with... :(
