Moose and elk are both very good, Hey Bullzeye , I am looking for a good recipe for moose jerky, how about sharing. Thanks John

Tried the sheep bologna and it was good!

Wife & son thought so, too. I've found if my wife likes treats like that you can be sure the seasoning blend is good. :lol:

I'll have to find out what kind of sheep it was, but I know they've offered mouflon rams there, so I'm guessing it might have been that.

I've had snapping turtles and soft-shell turtles, but prefer the snappers. The soft shell is a darker meat and has a stronger taste to me. As for cooking it, just roll it in seasoned flour and fry in peanut oil. Peanut oil has a higher scorching point than regular vegetable oil, so you won't get that burnt tastes. :wink:
You got that right Big , Fried turtle can't be beat :wink: Also love a big bowl of turtle muligan, :roll: It just don't get any better than that :D
