every Barnett bow i've chrono'd (about 6 now) From the Ghost 350, 400, jackal, etc, have all hit right on there advertised FPS with included arrows and FP's

the 22" bolts are a little long, have them cut down to 20". speed kills... the dacron string is quiet, absorbs shock, and is reasonably accurate considering all of the above. use it, be happy. that string has killed MANY animals accross many continents. Boo's are worth there weight in gold. the excal FFF string, great as well for the price. however here is some food for thought...

my vortex...
Rated 330 fps 350 grain arrow FFF string.

371 grain arrow, boostring... 325 fps... thats drned close... if i drop 21 grains... i'm sure i'd be right there. but i like the performance of the heavier FOC boltcutters. yes WAY more drop... but they are HAMMERS!!!
