Yes sorry, the new Hawk not the old one. Here is an article with pics. The Excalibur tact-zone has to be a close cousin to the Hawk XB30 Compact.

That new Hawke scope looks great. Too bad they are not Availabe in Canada for a decent price... :(

so very true. I can understand why these LOW end scopes are on these Xbows, they are all made by the lowest bidder so to speak, if you truly want a quality scope spend the money.
a mate here has a shadow zone scope on his Equinox, it was faulty so he rang the company and they sent him 2 scopes! and a bunch of other stuff, but clearly they are cheap as chips if they can afford to do that.. just saying...

X2 Never made much sense to me to but the worlds best and most dependable crossbow and put a scope on it that has a VERY good chance of crappin' the bed. Life is too short to add to the frustration.

Before this issue is laid to rest:
My 2-cents. Received my MATRIX 355 and the Tact-Zone scope. I could not be more pleased with the Tact-Zone. Quick target acquisition. Good eye relief. Clear and sharp. Literally, the only 'knit-picky' fault I could find was the stubborn release on the 'free' included scope caps... a problem that was solved in two minutes with the judicious application of a file
Apparently there were a couple of faulty units that slipped through the cracks :o

I am just curious does it say made in China on your Tact-Zone scope box, because I am wondering if Hawke makes it for Excalibur?

Cannot honestly say. The boxes are stashed in the shop on a high shelf. Try to remember to look nest time I go out.

I say never blame the equipment just the user. Our military scopes are one of the worst Ive used, but can fire a 3" group to 400m with a 5.56.
What's 64 tons, green and black, and can take a deer at 3400m. A leopard tank.

OK I didn't know that about Hawke, I though they were made in Europe or Australia, but not China.

I know Leupold's Crossbones crossbow scope is made in the U.S.A.

I am not sure about Nikon's Bolt XR crossbow scope, but I would guess it isn't made in China.
