Thanks Anthony, and everyone! The sausage is great, I hope the chops are as good. Boar meat can be strong, sometimes it's so strong you can't eat it. I really didn't know how this one would taste so I kind of played it safe with lots of sausage and not so much regular cuts of meat.
Follow up on Shannon: he's doing well. He was released from the hospital Oct 6th for a 21-day stay in a rehabilitation facility for lots and lots of physical therapy, but he's doing well enough that they let him go home and continue his therapy on an out-patient basis. He has a long road ahead of him yet, but he continues getting better and stronger, that's all we can ask for
