Pebbled Limb on Micro 4 Pic's

Re: Pebbled Limb on Micro Pic's
looks like the textured paint base gassed off in the hot sun leaving the textured pebbles more visible.ive seen this look on the do it yourself truck bed liner paint that people use.i bet its just a bad batch of paint. maybe too much solvents but who knows. i would call Excalibur direct.

I don't remember what a black limb's texture is like. Though my Matrix limbs aren't slick, they certainly don't have bubbles. My limb replacement from Woody's took less than a week. I only sent limbs, nothing else.vixenmaster wrote:The right limb & the front sides all slick jus like they came. I think is is where the phrase "sound shots" must have come from.amythntr wrote:coolhl wrote:Mike,

Re: Pebbled Limb on Micro 4 Pic's
I have a micro night mare as well.
Have had three sets of limbs replaced.
Use mine for target practice when not hunting.
Limbs just exploded on mine.
Great warranty though, keep cost down, go back to your dealer for service.
Right limb exploded the last time after only 149 shots, I keep a record of all arrows shot.
Xcal placed dampers on my bow this time hope this ends my problems, these bows have a lot of kinetic energy.
Great warranty, the only thing is the turn around time you loose, they really try to get you back up and going.

Three sets of limbs. That is disturbing to a potential micro owner to put it lightly...

Re: Pebbled Limb on Micro 4 Pic's
Other than the limb doing its pebble grain its holding up well
Re: Pebbled Limb on Micro 4 Pic's
I asked this before and was wondering, is it only the black limbs doing this, has anyone heard or seen a camo one do this or crack like the black ones.BrotherRon wrote:If you have any concerns, just get a camo one
