thanks everyone for the thoughts, prayers and well wishes. shortly after I read through the 2 pages(at the time) I read the following post on Darrel's facebook page
"So I was discharged and came home No problems with my heart , lungs or cholelsteral Now it;s up to my family Dr to figure out what caused the chest pains. I deeply appreciate everybodies concern. As soon as I know something I'll post the info"

Good to hear he's home. Hope it's nothing too bad.
I went through a similar experience several years ago. All the symptoms of a heart attack, but checked out OK. Doctor's best guess was pericarditis.
