Second, are you coming? You could hitch a ride in Kentucky and meet up with Aging in Penciltuckey.

[quote="sumner4991"]Norm . . .for the price, I'll drink 6 U.S. beers instead of one Canadian. You have a OK arguement on the beer, however, it's still not worth the $$ . . .at least not for me.

HEY!!! I represent that remark! Round is a shape!

Looks like I may be able to make it. I started getting all of the necessary stuff together to get the passport. From the sounds of it, I'll probably need to find some place that sells that generic beer in the white cans with black letters that just say "BEER". Wouldn't want to spoil ya'll too much.

We'll see if I can find some of that good Kentucky bourbon to bring along also. I'll tell ya'll before hand though, It's called "sippin' whiskey" for a reason.  Several years ago, KY hosted the International Hunter Education Convention. Being the gracious hosts that we were, there was a hospitality room set up. For some reason, the delegates from Canada never could quite grasp the concept that "sippin' whiskey" is called that for a reason. The last time I saw them, they were leaning on each other trying to make it down the hall way. One of them missed a step, which through their timing and "lean" off. They each went to the opposite side of the hallway and just stayed there, leaning against the wall.

We'll pin a name tag and "In Case of Horizontal" instructions on you Boo.  Oh, I don't doubt there'll be plenty of fellers up there that could do me in. Got the majority of that out of my system in college. Now it's just to "mellow out" a little and have a good time with good friends.

I'll see about getting enough of that good KY "sippin' whiskey" so that there will be enough to last. I'll have some deer summer sausage/salami/brats to throw into the larder as well.

If anyone else wants to hitch a ride up there, just let me know. I've got a GMC Canyon truck (same thing as a Chevy Colorado) with a crew cab, so it will seat 4 and the bed should be big enough to hold all of our crap under the tonneau cover. If not, I've got plenty of rope and ratchet straps. Figured I'd head up to Wisconsin and spend the night with my brother up there, and then pick up aging the next morning and be on the way.
