I owned and ran a business for a couple of years and your type of customer more than lightly once something goes wrong everything is wrong and can not be made happy. I would reccommend a refund for you. Better for both parties involved. Move on.

I am the type of customer that has had nothing but trouble with this since I spent 800+ dollars on it. I have now had 2 scopes on it and now I am sending it back. If you haven't noticed gas price is through the roof and I have been running this thing to the shop too much for my liking. I am no different than anyone else. I bet you anyone else who spent this type of money and had the problems I have had would be in the exact mind set as I am in right now.
we have all went through this kind of thing at one time or another..maybe not with cross bows but with other things gear, cars, truck, houses, whatever ..i think you will find the problem solved when you get it back from Mr Miller..
all you went through sucked but you did buy the best crossbow on the market with the best support you will find.
remember you did dry fire it ..and your getting new limbs no questions asked..the split stopper was most likely caused by that and i excpect he will replace it too..did you tell him all that?..the other thing is ..if you wish to hang around here you will find a great bunch of guys who have been messin with these things for years..they are all eager to help.except for that Aging guy(he dont know jack)

Yes I did dry fire it, it is even advertised that you can dry fire it and it won't hurt the bow. This is in no way why I am getting new limbs though. The reason for this is because it has not shot since I got it until I changed scopes, then it started the 4 inch group soon afterwards with the second scope. The Tiller is off on this bow and has nothing to do with the dry fire. Also the stopper that is split, this is the short side for where the tiller is off so again, the dry fire didn't do that either. And by the way I told them everything that had happened. I am not ashamed of anything I did. When you have 2 (TWO) people firing the SAME EXACT bow ON SAND BAGS and shooting 4 inch groups, it's not the shooter. Like I said I had an exomag and loved it, had no problems with it. But I have had more of my share of problems with this one.

Oh and yes there are a bunch of great people here, I agree.

Best answer yet. Good call. There is no bringing back a person who has a machine that functions from a trigger to a rail to a set of limbs, seen through a scope and had problems with every single part, then criticizes every bit of input offered to help.
Let her move on to a different bow and be happy. I have frequented every bow forum that exists and have never heard of a problem like this, so I can't help but speculate as to what the real problem is here.
Hun, send the bow back and be done with it, you are one in a million and should look at other options. When the bow comes back from Dan, who is brilliant with these things, you are just going to have a new problem. I have been there, I swear everything in the world was wrong with my bow when I bought it, turns out, it wasn't the bow.

Check it out my man I did NOT criticizes anyones opinion here at all! I have been doing what I have been told to do, go back and read a bit! The bow is back at Dan's! If you want a bow the shoots 4 in groups at 20 yards then take mine please! Maybe you can toss around 800 plus dollars and think nothing of it, me on the other hand I can't! I saved for this thing and I demand something a hell of a sight better than what I have gotten. To make a good bow and put a junky scope on it is ridiculous imo! Well sorry to hear that everything that was wrong with your bow was just you, but in my case, it's the bow!

I'd get my money back and double down and buy a compound crossbow. When you dryfire that puppy, you will be in whiners heaven. I suggest you start with Bowtech. :D They'll take care of you for sure.

OMG are you serious!! IT IS AT DAN'S!!!!!!!! WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!!!!! QUIT BEING SO STUCK ON YOURSELF! I have listened to everyone I could on here. Free advice, so what you charge for this now??? We are no farther a long because the BOW HAS NEVER GROUPED UNTIL I PUT A NEW SCOPE ON IT!!! WHAT PART OF THIS CAN YOU NOT GRASP????? READ SLOWER MAYBE YOU WILL GET IT! Yes I did dry fire the bow, are you telling me the Excalibur DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THAT?? The dry fire has NOTHING to do with why the bow does not shoot.

Listen, I came here because I bought a Excalibur for one and for two a bit of help. I do not need your cocky attitude, but if you want to run your suck, that's fine with me cause I will not sit back and take you BS when I AM NOT THE ONE WHO STARTED THROWING STONES!!

If his story is real and I was in this situation then I would be out right pissed at my dealer for not doing all the work to make sure I had a working bow in my hands. All the dealers I work with would be mortified by this situation.
Lets take a break and see what happens between the dealer and Athena.

People please listen, do you honestly think I am going to come on here to cause trouble and nor=t really even have bought the equinox??? Come on listen to yourselves! I honestly bought this bow because I had one in the past, the Exomag. For whatever reason I got out of the sport. Well then on Jan, 18 I was told I had a 5cm mass in my kidney. On Feb 3 I had my right kidney taken out and the pathology report came back the it was clear cell carcinoma. Scared me to death so I decided to get back into things I used to like. And I come to this site and I receive bullshit from a few loud mouths that would NEVER SAY BOO TO ME IF WE WERE FACE TO FACE! Not all just a couple people on here I guess are the bullies, well guess what. You picked the wrong one here fellow and you know who I am referring to.

I am in PA right out of Pittsburgh, come shoot the bow with me. Then get back on the chat site here and tell everyone how it went.

Thank you Boo, at least you tried!!

I am in agreement with you Boo. I don't knowed if'en its a gal or guy!
You got to admit that no intro does lead to a lot of speculation. Not the way to start out on a friendly forum.

Boo may be right and this may be the exception to the rule.

What intro do I have to do??? MY GOD! I am 43 this month on the 25 I am married (Not telling anyone here if I have kids or not) I am a Correctional Officer and have been 16 years. I live in South West PA. I like privacy, no noise and mostly to be left alone.

Is this good enough for whoever????

FINALLY! you introduced yourself. Unfortunatly Athena we do have people that just come on here to stir up trouble. The only way to know is if the person introduces him or herself or spends time here to get to know people. You did neither but just bardged in and started complaining. We did try to help but it went on and on. I really do hope you get your bow back and it shoots fine which I think you will. I offer my apology for jumping on you. I to have my days and yesterday was one. Again my apology. Agingcrossbower.
