Just remember everyone that he was sitting on the ground with his back to a tree and along comes this beast and he calmly shoot it. I am still amazed at how cool this guy is. Heck, by the time the ambulance and cops left the area that buck would have been miles away and me with a heart attack no less. Neil has nerves of steel. What a buck!

Thanks mike. He was only at ten yards too. Not an opportunity that I will likely ever get again, that's why I figured I HAD to get him mounted. A hunt of a lifetime!
It almost didn't happen, he knew the jig was up a split second before I pulled the trigger, I could see it in his eyes!

Oh Neil, it'll happen again. That's why I've buckled down and started at the gym. Next years will be bigger and I want to lose some weight so it's not so hard to drag me and the buck out this time.
