30 years ago I climbed with a pair of tree/pole climbers I purchased from Cabelas. I used to shinny up a tree with no safety harness, pull up my 5# aluminum stand (AlumiLock) And hang it about 35' up. I have probably used them twice in the last 20 years as I have converted to mostly using 20' ladder stands with an occasional hang on and tree steps.
It has nothing to do with my age or the condition of my body at this stage of life.
35 ft up I used those to hang my lock-ons YEARS ago like at 40 years young ..Miss doing things like that ,you could sit all day on piece of plywood between crouch of tree now at 63 I need Summit 180 max seat to sit on and rail around me when I fall asleep at 10 am ...Killed very nice buck when I woke up I wonder at times how long he was there ?My contacts dry out on my eyes and buck had 2 heads
Which climber is that?
Is that game plan harness made for a climber in your other pic? where do they sell it?
thanks, Dan.

Roy, the stand is the Equalizer now sold by Buckshot Tree Stands. The Game Plan Gear harness works on my 3 climbers very well. I bought one harness online, and 16 extra loop/latches. I installed loops on all the stands so I just snap the harness on whichever one I'm talking. Works great for me.
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!
If I can get my Wife to leave her car out of the garage I'll get all of them lined up for a snap shot. I might be a bit obsessive having 3 climbers, but each has a certain flare for different situations. If I had to go down to 1, it would be the Equalizer.
