I have had Excalibur ( Dan ) set me up with green NUfletch Ignitors on the last 6 Zombie Slayers he made me for my Micro.... I like them so well I just bought the 14 1/2" BEES set up with them and APE tails that were put up two days ago in the Trading Post.

BTW, the green ones are said to be good for 40 hours . :D

I saw my first lighted nock it was Lumenock from BORKHOLDER ARCHERY..He threw in one free for me to try ..Question with 28 grains on weight of lumenock, not sure what the non lighted ones weight but this should put me up top 410 /420 grain area my arrows are 395 now..Will my point of impact chance with the lighted nocks ?Thanks..

....I think the plain plastic nocks are around 7-8g. with that said where would be a slight change in POI, increasing the further the shot..

I have been shooting them for years in Excals ranging from 320 FPS and up and have never had a adjust my scope for POI within hunting ranges (50 yards). The difference is maybe 1/8" or so at 50 yards.

....everybody has their preferences for various reasons...some sell them so they have a vested interest...my suggestion is you try different one's for yourself and come to you own conclusion as a balance between efficacy, ease in usage and extinguishing, weight and cost....

This will be my first time in 52 years using light on nock..They are neat and with Bucks now changing their way do to hunting pressure on publicland your shots are at daylight or just before dark,I hate buck kill at dark..BORKHOLDRER ARCHERY sent me free lumenock for custom arrows he made for me and i tried it at dark in yard, OH MY I HAD TO LAUGH,is this going to help me with Buck at dusk or cloudy day.....I am walking around in dark with paper clip turning it on and off..lol...This is red one and very bright...

I like using them simply because I know within reason where I hit . I have shot deer before the lighted nock and would have swore it was a perfect shot .To recover the deer and find out it is not where I was aiming .
Does it aim the arrow . No
But with me shooting both eyes open . Left or right . I know where I last saw the light on its side .
Lighted or un-lighted does not make up for a misplaced arrow .
Opinions are healthy . :)
I use expandables where others will only use fixed .
