@hankenhunter - Forgot to ask, so the Excal aluminum fit into the Zombies? Will they fit the BEEs too you think?
The Excalibur nocks are .300 OD so will fit any arrow designed for a .300" OD nock.

Check the specs here:
http://www.blackeaglearrows.com/product-p/zomb-xbow-fletched.htm

They have a .300"ID. Very pretty arrows as well.

Different kinds of nocks:

NuFletch Ignitor Nocks

And which aluminum nocks do you prefer? or is that dependent on the arrow?
I've never liked the plastic nocks. Excalibur aluminum all the way for my beast. Switched my zombies over also as one plastic nock split, dryfired and cut the string at the same time. I have never had a problem with Excals nocks.

Dunno about the executioners but it's a tight fit on the zombies so I don't use any glue. Glue is needed on the firebolts.

Hank - how do you make sure that the nocks from Excalibur are the correct size for the arrow? Or how do you retrofit them, etc. sorry for all the questions
I have always used .300 arrows in my bow. Most arrow diameters can be found by googling a direct query with the brand name. Or the old-fashioned method of if the nock falls in place by itself, it's to loose. If you have to hammer it in, its too tight. Tapping the nock down with the arrow on the work bench works good. Not recomended on nice k*tchen tables though. :shifty: When I glue nocks in, I use hot melt glue sticks for ease of removal later. If you would like info on nock removal, p.m me. Regards,
Hank

Looks like the problem is solved. :) Keeping the fingers crossed. :) Thanks for all the help.

It looks like the flat nock I got to test, works afterall. :) After sharing these additional photos I was told to "go for it" & shoot away!!

This was the first shot and the second test shot came just under it.

What is that? :D I think I know what it is if it’s an anti-dry firing mechanism.
So I’m guessing you recommend getting that before looking at getting a better scope?

Depends on how many more times you plan on dry firing that poor bow !

Just giving you a hard time, get out and shoot that thing.
