I just picked up a bolt box last week, before that I used some Styroform blocks that was used for packaging from something I bought? You know, buy a toaster over and there is styrofoam in the box holding the oven in place.

Here's the bolt box.

Bolt box

Hi Partikle,
Have you any idea where I can get hold of some of those clips that are holding your bolts in the box? Got an idea for something, and need some.
Thanks,
Grizzled.

I would think anyone doing upholstery work could supply you with some foam.

Get the stiffest that you can get.

I don't know if this will work, but how about the foam that florists use to display flowers? Just a thought

I used water pipe foam insulation that I bought at Canadian Tire. Just cut lslices into it and the arrows stay in pretty good. A few cents for each length.

I can't see a problem stacking them as long as they don't rattle around. They're so cheap that you may as well try it. If it doesn't work you're out a few cents.

When you put the slices/notches in the foam keep in mind that they come with a cut the length of the tube. Make sure that is facing down.
